Heather McFarlane

With a background in chemistry and a passion for wildlife Heather has worked in the science and environmental sectors for over 15 years. She has led projects, communication and policy development at the Royal Society of Chemistry, University of Edinburgh, and conservation NGOs around the world.

Now working at Fidra, an evidence-based charity working with retailers, investors, industry, governments and the public and to deliver pragmatic solutions to environmental issues. Heather leads on projects addressing chemical pollution and plastic pellets in our environment.
