Joshua introduces the work of the Plastic Pollution Working Group (PPWG) which was formed to provide a better understanding of the plastic pollution crisis. Using this knowledge, they are tackling how the industry can plan, prepare and respond to legacy pollution and spill events. From here, he will begin to unwrap the widespread reach of plastics in the environment, and highlight the various routes and pathways of plastic pollution throughout its life cycles, from pellet to problem.
