Andrew Le Masurier
Andrew Le Masurier joined ITOPF as a technical adviser in 2019. Since then, Andrew has attended numerous spills in South America, Europe, Asia and in the Caribbean and has provided training workshops worldwide.
Alongside oil spill response activities, Andrew is the ITOPF lead on alternative fuels and is an active member in the HNS and Monitoring, Modelling and Mapping working groups at ITOPF.
Prior to joining ITOPF, Andrew completed a MSc in Environmental Management and Assessment and a BSc in Environmental Science at the University of Southampton.


Kevin Tallec
Kevin Tallec holds a master’s degree in marine biology and a PhD in marine ecotoxicology during which he studied the effects of micro- and nanoplastics on the early life stages of marine invertebrates.
In January 2022, Kevin Tallec joined the “Aquatic Litter Monitoring and Studies” department of Cedre as an environmental engineer.
In his function, he is involved in the coordination and realization of tasks within the framework of national and international projects in the field of aquatic waste, notably regarding the problematic of plastic pellets.
His work since the beginning of his career has been presented in various national and international conferences and has been the subject of 13 publications in scientific journals.
